Privacy Policy

This is a courtesy translation. In case of doubt, the German version applies.

Protecting your personal data matters to me. Here you can find out which data is processed when you visit this website, for what purpose, and what rights you have.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated by an external hosting provider. When you access the pages, information that your browser transmits is recorded automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

This data is technically necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for this purpose. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

4. Encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the padlock symbol and “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

5. Contact by email or phone

If you write to me or call me, I process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your message) in order to respond to your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I delete your details once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Applying for a design project

You can apply for a design project via the application form in the Atelier. I process the details you enter: first name, last name, email address, phone number, optionally your website and Instagram profile, information about your offering and business, your revenue range, the desired package, available photos and your answers to the open questions.

I use this information solely to review your application, contact you and prepare a possible collaboration. After you submit the form, your details are sent to me by email via my hosting provider’s mail server. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). If no collaboration comes about, I delete your details no later than six months after the application process has ended.

7. Newsletter

If you sign up for “Letters from the Salon”, I process your email address to send you news about courses, retreats, offerings and prints a few times a year. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

I use the double opt-in procedure: after signing up, you receive an email in which you confirm your subscription. Only then are you added to the list. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link in every email or with a short message to me. After unsubscribing, your email address is removed from the list. To send the newsletter, I use a newsletter service provider with whom a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

8. Google Fonts

To display fonts consistently, this website uses Google Fonts by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you open a page, your browser loads the fonts from Google servers, which transmits your IP address to Google. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in a consistent and appealing presentation of the website. You can find more information in Google’s privacy policy.

9. Videos and images

All images and videos on this website are stored on my own web space. No video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo are embedded.

10. Links to other websites, Instagram and Calendly

This website contains simple links, for example to Instagram, to my appointment booking on Calendly and to my other websites. No data is transmitted unless you click on a link. Once you open a link, the privacy policy of the respective site applies. For Instagram, this is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland.

If you book an intro call via the link, you enter your details directly at Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. I use the details to hold the appointment with you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. More in Calendly’s privacy policy.
